It's really nice to feel a little more normal these days. A few weeks ago, while experimenting which meds work for me, I had a meltdown. The dose I was on made me extremely depressed and suicidal. I was admitted to the hospital and stayed there for 5 days. It was really scary, because there are a lot worse off people than me there. It was a very eye opening experience, one that seemed a bit extreme at the time, but all in all I think it put a better perspective on life.
Elli had her 2nd birthday party over the weekend, we had a luau theme, so cute! I made this awesome hawaiian girl cake.
I love designing cakes. I have such a blast doing it, but I'm not very good at it. Elli had a great time at her party playing with her cousin Gabriel. They are so cute together. They look so much like me and Travis when were little.
We bought Elli a puppy for her bday because she loves dogs. Her name is Penny and she's the cutest thing, but she's teething and she nips a lot. For Elli's sake, we're trying to sell her, but I would be happy if we kept her as well. Here's a shot of Penny dressed up for the luau.
